The shape of the cervix and its position changes throughout the cycle, so it qualifies for charting just as the cervical fluid does. Lily does not actively use this data to evaluate your cycles. However, it is still a valuable indicator for you and can, when tracked regularly, give you important additional information on where you are in your cycle, and how fertile you should consider yourself to be.
Infertile time (beginning and end of the cycle):
firm, low, and closed (can easily be reached)
Midway throughout the cycle:
a bit less firm, partly open, and it is more difficult to reach
Fertile time (around ovulation):
soft, high, open, and wet (very difficult to reach, it sits far up inside the vagina)
